The film includes Robert Sturua’s rehearsals and excerpts from his several stage productionsin different countries. Behind the scenes he narrates himself how he came to the theatre,what is his method of directing, why he staged so many Shakespeare plays, why his RichardIII was so successful in London, why he included scenes from the New Testament in theShakespeare’s Twelfth Night and why he decided to exclude“To be or not to be”monologuefrom Hamlet staged at the Rustaveli Theatre. In the movie famous composer Giya Kancheli,actors Alan Rickman and Ioseph Pollack discuss their experience collaborating with Sturua.
