Till the Stars Come Down
York Actor's Collective (Tiger Country, Entertaining Mr Sloane) return with Till the Stars Come Down - a contemporary British family drama by Beth Steel, set at the wedding of Sylvia and Marek in a former mining town.
The play explores the tumultuous dynamics of a working-class family as long-held secrets, passions, and tensions surrounding class, immigration, and social change, transforming the celebration into a chaotic blend of humor and tragedy. The play examines a family and community struggling to cope with a changing world, including the impact of economic decline and political shifts.
