Oh What A Lovely War
Pick Me Up Theatre present a 60th anniversary production of this classic of modern theatre. 'Oh, What A Lovely War!' is a satirical chronicle of the First World War, told through songs and documents in the form of a seaside pierrot entertainment of the period. It was devised and presented by Joan Littlewood's Theatre Workshop at the Theatre Royal, Stratford East in 1963 before being turned into a film by Richard Attenborough in 1969
